#LifeInUnilag: ThrowbackSunday – What went down at the Unilag Carnival 2016!

Known for being the brains behind majority of the most colorful events on campus every now and then, the department of creative arts wowed everyone again (as expected) as they came out in their large numbers and attires for the 2016 UNILAG CARNIVAL.

With an audience of over 500, the carnival began at the department  of creative arts and ended with the Grand Finale at the Sports Centre.

There were displays from students representing various countries eg: Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba, Brazil, Jamaica and more. The displays were judged by a team of seasoned lecturers and performers, and at the end of the day, Trinidad and Tobago emerged winners!

Apart from being very colorful and entertaining displays both in attires and dance etc, there were art displays by the visual art students of the department as well as musical performances from some of the university’s finest; Yungace, Sefhan and more.

In all, it was an awesome day and we look forward to more from them.
